Welcome to my Learning Log
This is a blog of my experiences with online learning in a secondary educational environment. Posts are arranged under 3 main categories:
Join. Live. Share looks at social networking, online communities and Web2.0 ways of working.
Read. Imagine. Create includes book reviews and everything to do with promoting reading.
Search. Find. Learn considers information, study, research and revision skills.
Thank you for visiting. Your comments are very welcome.

lovely, clear and simple (just like me!) Great idea
As requested on SLN group I’ve checked it out.
I like it! Very clear, neat and easy to use. I also like the colour scheme and your library looks amazing.
I started a blog myself a few few months ago but other things at work took over but seeing yours may remotivate me to start again.
Hope the learning log really motivates your staff and pupils
Well done
Jenny
Had a look at this as requested on SLN..Looks great and simple, as does your library.

This is great. Was it a lot of work to set up? I read your message on SLN and thought it was worth a look. Fantastic work.
It looks very good Nicola – as others said, clearly set out, and the colour scheme is good – easy on the eye! I really like your Read, Imagine Create headings, and you have a beautiful physical library too! Has given me some ideas for my own vrtual presence!
Thanks for all your comments. Lilian -it took a bit of time to set up this blog but the design of it is one of a hundred designs provided by Edublogs which you can customise so you don’t have to be a technical whizz to get going!
Looks great, keep it going!
Very good looking blog!
I have been inspired to make my own to imbed in school’s VLE
I have recently joined sln but haven’t yet found time to post anything on -so far I’ve been reading comments and ideas in a most mercenary way-I will attempt to share soon! Lol
What a lovely library you have! (the real one, I mean). Interesting always to see other people’s work space. Your blog looks good, plenty of white space makes it clear to read. I like your 3 categories but could I suggest that on the rhs you have the categories listed in the same order as in the intro? You have encouraged me to investigate further!
Thanks Helen
the category thing was annoying me too but I can’t work out at the moment how to change it. It seems that when I add a post the category I assign to it moves to the top of the posting list!
Dear Nicola McNee,
Hi.
I saw the article , the school librarian, about you.
I want to know about Your method for interactive communication with student and learn.
May I ask how to join at your blog?
I’m not resident in BRITISH.
All best regards,
