Pass me that Video: Victorians on the SMART Table

Since joining Twitter I have been following the progress of Tom Barrett, a Primary School Assistant Headteacher from Nottinghamshire,  with the installation and use of a Smart Table in his classroom.  He has been updating us with twitpics of its arrival and we have been able to share in the excitement of opening the box to the disappointment of having to wait for the keys to arrive.  It has been a great way for me to learn the potential of twitter for educational professionals.

Tom has now posted some videos of Year 6 children manipulating images and video clips of the Victorians  on the SMART table.  It’s just so amazing I had to share it with you.  Here is a glimpse of the future through a study of the past!

Tom’s whole post can be read on his blog and it’s well worth a look: http://tbarrett.edublogs.org/2009/04/28/smart-table-in-my-classroom-pass-me-that-video/
